Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of the Astro Sigil mobile application (the “App”). By installing or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The important one. Astro Sigil is for entertainment and reflection. It describes what the sky is doing — it does not tell you what to do, and it is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind.
1. Acceptance
By using the App you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms, together with the Privacy Policy. Acceptance is required to use the App.
2. What the App Provides
The App calculates the current positions of the Sun, Moon and planets and shows the aspects between them, each with an illustrative sigil and a written reflection. The astronomical calculations are approximations suitable for general astrological use; they are not intended for navigational, scientific or any other precision purpose, and no accuracy is warranted.
3. Entertainment Only — Not Advice
Astrological readings in the App are offered for entertainment, curiosity and personal reflection. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, professional or any other form of advice, and they make no prediction about what will actually happen. Nothing in the App should be relied upon when making a decision that matters. If you need advice, consult a qualified professional.
4. Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for how you interpret what the App shows you, and for anything you do or decide as a result. You use the App at your own risk.
5. On-Device Operation
Readings are generated on your device from a built-in ephemeris and a curated library of interpretations. No account is required, and nothing you do in the App is sent to us. Your preferences and your collection of seen aspects are stored on your device only; clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App erases them permanently, and we cannot restore them.
6. Advertising
The App is funded by advertising served by Google AdMob, shown as an occasional card within the deck and, at most once per session, as a full-screen ad. Advertisers and their content are not ours and are not endorsed by us.
7. Purchases
The App offers a single optional one-time purchase that removes advertising permanently. Purchases are processed by Google Play under Google's terms; we do not handle payments. Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy, and the purchase is tied to the Google account that made it — you can restore it from Settings on any device signed in to that account.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute or resell the App, and not to use it in any way that breaks the law or interferes with its operation.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, its name, its icon, its generated sigil artwork and its written interpretations are the property of their author and are protected by copyright. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you control.
10. Availability and Changes
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we may update these terms; material changes are reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the App after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the App or its readings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and you may have statutory consumer rights that these terms do not affect.
12. Age Requirement
The App is not directed at children and you must be at least 13 years old, or the equivalent minimum age where you live, to use it.
